This was my first portrait and the inspiration for my Strong Women portrait series. I was drawn to the colors and vibrancy in this painting. I wanted to learn the basics of painting portraits going in and had no idea I would get hooked. This one will always hold a very special place in my heart. There were some challenges but overall I had a really great time painting this.
